Every day children are left in one of the most dangerous places we could ever place them. This place is far more dangerous than sending them to a park alone at night. In the safety of our homes, with family around them, children are exposed to sexual predators, pornography and identity theft. Predators search Chat Rooms, MySpace, and all instant messaging areas where teens spend time chatting with each other.

We need your help in making the Internet a safer place for every child by distributing a DVD, Safety On The Internet, and a CD, Safety On The Internet Materials, free of charge to every school, church and civic organization that we can. Most Internet safety advocates say that educating parents is the way to protect children and young people using the Internet. We believe this is definitely something we must do; but we are neglecting one of the most important steps in bringing safety to the Internet—educating our children. Too many parents believe their children have learned and obey the rules. We cannot afford to make this assumption. Most kids believe safety rules are something to keep them from having fun. It is vital that we change that way of thinking and help them understand that these rules are for every Internet user. We believe we can help them do this. This material is “conference ready” for anyone to teach Internet Safety to kids or adults.

We cannot carry out this commitment to Protect Every Child alone—it must be a worldwide effort. Please help!
